Since 2009, our practice has been based in the modern and well-equipped Gezondheidscentrum Bredero. At Huisartsenpraktijk van Eerd, we believe it is important to provide personalised care. This means that we focus on finding the support that best meets your needs. We do this by listening carefully, taking your concerns or questions seriously, and agreeing on an appointment, treatment, or advice together.
We are a group practice with several doctors. You are free to choose any of them, and our receptionists will accommodate this as much as possible when scheduling an appointment. In addition to the doctors, we have several practice nurses, receptionists, and a physician assistant, each with their own consultation hours to which you may be referred.

Making Decisions Together
At Huisartsenpraktijk van Eerd, we believe personal care is essential. This means we look together with you at which type of care best suits your needs. We do this by listening carefully, taking your concerns or questions seriously, and working with you to agree on the right appointment, treatment, or advice.
We are a group practice with several doctors. You are free to choose which doctor you see, and our assistants will take this into account as much as possible when scheduling your appointment. In addition to our doctors, we also work with practice nurses, medical assistants, and a physician assistant. Each has their own clinic hours, and you may be referred to them when appropriate.
Positive Health and Wellbeing
We work according to the principles of Positive Health. In this approach, health is not seen merely as the presence or absence of illness, but as “the ability of people to adapt to physical, emotional, and social challenges in life and to maintain as much control as possible” (M. Huber, 2012).
This means we do not only focus on which condition you may have and the care it requires. Together, we also explore how you can strengthen your own health through changes in behaviour. This may include support in adopting a healthier lifestyle. The focus is not on illness, but on you as a person—your resilience and what gives meaning to your life.
Working Together
We work together with other healthcare providers in our Health Center, such as physiotherapists, dietitians, and psychologists. We also collaborate with professionals outside the Health Center, including home care staff, social workers, and the youth professional from CJG Breda (Center for Youth and Family). If you need care in the hospital or in mental health services (GGZ), we can easily consult with them and refer you when necessary.
